SharePoint Front End Developer (Contract, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a SharePoint Front End Developer on a 6‑12 month contract to design, build and enhance custom SharePoint solutions for a multinational professional services firm. The role is hybrid, based in Dublin, and focuses on modernising on‑premises SharePoint environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive front‑end interfaces for SharePoint using Angular and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Create and maintain SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions, provider‑hosted apps and custom components.
• Develop C#/.NET components and extend the SharePoint Client Object Model (CSOM) with class libraries.
• Implement event handlers, integrate third‑party APIs, SQL databases and backend services.
• Lead large‑scale SharePoint migrations and modernisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality applications.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, UAT support and adherence to Microsoft best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing SharePoint solutions (especially 2016/2019 on‑premises).
• Proven ability to build modern, responsive UI components with Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience delivering SPFx, CSOM, JS Link and provider‑hosted applications.
• Solid background in C#.NET and integrating with REST APIs and SQL.
• Track record of leading SharePoint migrations and custom form development.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
