IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Service & Support team at Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 2 technical assistance and drive automation across Windows, macOS and Linux environments. You will act as a senior escalation point, own end‑to‑end issue resolution, and help improve operational efficiency for global engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced Tier 2 support for complex, high‑impact incidents on Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Develop and use automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to reduce manual effort and streamline support processes.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements through scripting and tooling.
• Collaborate with Client Platform Engineering, Global IT and Security to align standards, automate processes and enhance endpoint performance.
• Support enterprise systems including Intune, JAMF Pro, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Participate in project planning, coordination and deployment of new technologies or service enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge‑base articles for internal IT teams.
