Junior Data Scientist – SME Platform

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a junior data scientist to join the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) platform team. You will help design and develop a unified platform that supports SMEs worldwide, working on machine‑learning models and business‑intelligence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Aggregate and collate client data sets, performing data manipulation and technical analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Clean and structure data sets for downstream analytics.
• Assist in the development and validation of dashboards and reports for client and stakeholder projects.
• Escalate technical errors or bugs detected in project work.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks delegated by senior colleagues.
