About the role

Mastercard is looking for a junior data scientist to join the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) platform team. You will help design and develop a unified platform that supports SMEs worldwide, working on machine‑learning models and business‑intelligence projects.

Key responsibilities

Aggregate and collate client data sets, performing data manipulation and technical analysis to identify trends and insights.
Clean and structure data sets for downstream analytics.
Assist in the development and validation of dashboards and reports for client and stakeholder projects.
Escalate technical errors or bugs detected in project work.
Support ad‑hoc tasks delegated by senior colleagues.

Required profile

Highly motivated and detail‑oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and problem‑solving.
Proactive attitude and willingness to assist senior team members.
Strong sense of ownership and a can‑do attitude.
