Legal Counsel

About the role

Chainlink is seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. You will work closely with the General Counsel and business units to shape legal strategy for a leading blockchain oracle platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies for evaluating complex risk in business‑centric ways.
• Build scalable legal processes that enable rapid business movement.
• Support compliance with U.S. and international laws in partnership with finance and operations.
• Research and stay current on global regulatory frameworks affecting blockchain and DeFi.
• Advise diverse business teams on complex legal topics across the organization.

Required profile

• License to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction or the Republic of Ireland or the UK.
• Minimum 4 years at a top law firm or 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, meet tight deadlines and act decisively.
• Ownership of projects and ability to translate legal analysis into actionable outcomes.
