Newly or Part‑Qualified Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Management Accountant who is newly qualified or part‑qualified to join a globally recognised finance team in the Cashel area. Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a key role in accurate financial reporting, control‑account maintenance and supporting finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse the general ledger to ensure accurate cost capture and allocation.
• Reconcile control accounts monthly and post month‑end journals.
• Prepare accruals and pre‑payment journals on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly accounts for review.
• Assist with the preparation of year‑end statutory accounts and audit files.
• Oversee stock control and support quarterly stock counts.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
• Prepare bi‑monthly VAT returns for review.
• Assist with cash‑flow and budget preparation.
• Support IT improvement projects for the finance function.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – part qualified or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience in management accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
