People & Culture Specialist

About the role
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Specialist to help shape and enhance the employee experience at MKO. Working closely with the Head of People & Culture and cross‑functional teams, you will drive key initiatives, support managers, and contribute to continuous improvement as the company scales.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver core People & Culture initiatives, ensuring consistency and practical application across the business.
- Identify and implement improvements to P&C processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Support talent development programs and manage the MKO Academy learning management system, creating engaging content.
- Partner with managers to adopt new tools, processes, and people initiatives.
- Provide clear guidance on day‑to‑day people matters and support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee data in Personio and generate regular and ad‑hoc reports.
- Assist in delivering wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in an HR or People & Culture role, preferably in a fast‑paced or professional services environment.
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Strong organisational abilities and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills and good judgement on people matters.
- Interest in learning, development, and building organisational capability.
Required skills
- Experience with Personio or a similar HR information system.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital HR tools.
