Security Officer

About the role

Join Securitas Security Services as a Security Officer based in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. You will help protect client assets by preventing loss, waste, damage, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all required training for the specific site.
• Follow published Assignment Instructions and suggest improvements.
• Monitor CCTV systems where required.
• Identify and immediately report health & safety hazards.
• Stay alert to threats and take appropriate action to minimise disruption.
• Use common sense and involve others when situations become threatening.
• Document incidents promptly for the Incident Report process.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar security role.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Strong PC proficiency.
• First Aid certification.
• Excellent customer service and telephone manner.
• Fully flexible availability for days, nights, and weekends.
• Valid PSA licence (Safe Pass desirable).
• Own transport and clean driving licence preferred.
