Senior Project Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead residential and mixed‑use developments for our Dublin office. You will oversee projects from concept through commissioning, acting as the primary client liaison and ensuring delivery against strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, site delivery and commissioning.
• Collaborate with the project management team to deliver capital investment projects.
• Handle projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) and ensure risk mitigation.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day client interface, aligning outcomes with client goals.
• Lead project management commissions and take overall responsibility for successful delivery.
• Plan, direct and supervise moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity and financial impact.
• Contribute to the operational efficiency of the AECOM project management team.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• In the process of attaining Chartered status with SCSI, RICS, CIOB, RIBA or Engineers Ireland.
• Affiliation with the Association for Project Management (APM) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects across RIBA Stages 0–7.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RIBA Stages 0–7.
• Understanding of Risk Triggering Factors (RTF).
