About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Nurse to join our state‑of‑the‑art Cath Lab team on a permanent, full‑time basis. As a role model, you will promote best practice in nursing care, provide clinical expertise, and support your colleagues in delivering safe, high‑quality cardiac services.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor for the Cath Lab team.
- Support colleagues in achieving departmental Critical Success Factors.
- Foster a culture of openness, participation and effective communication.
- Maintain responsibility for your own professional development.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum three years post‑graduate acute‑care nursing experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Required skills
- Cath Lab nursing experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – desirable or willingness to undertake.
- Acute care nursing competencies.
