Staff Nurse – Cath Lab (Permanent, Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Nurse to join our state‑of‑the‑art Cath Lab team on a permanent, full‑time basis. As a role model, you will promote best practice in nursing care, provide clinical expertise, and support your colleagues in delivering safe, high‑quality cardiac services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for the Cath Lab team.
• Support colleagues in achieving departmental Critical Success Factors.
• Foster a culture of openness, participation and effective communication.
• Maintain responsibility for your own professional development.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum three years post‑graduate acute‑care nursing experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Cath Lab nursing experience.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – desirable or willingness to undertake.
• Acute care nursing competencies.
