About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our residential care team, providing high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to older adults. This role combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well‑being of our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Promote a respectful environment that supports independence and dignity.
• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to care staff.
• Assist with inspections and audits to maintain regulatory standards.
• Act as Nurse in Charge when required, overseeing daily operations.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Nursing.
• Registered with An Bord Altranais and holding an active PIN.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain certifications in key care areas.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care to older people.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts.

• Infection Control certification.
• Manual Handling certification.
• CPR certification.
• Medication Management certification.
• Safeguarding certification.
• Dementia Care certification.
