Buyer – Procurement Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a fast‑moving procurement team supporting data‑centre build projects. You will work closely with Procurement Category Managers to drive end‑to‑end sourcing activities and ensure smooth delivery of services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full RFQ lifecycle – from initiation, supplier communication, bid evaluation to award.
• Prepare and launch RFQs across assigned categories, ensuring compliance with timelines and governance.
• Support supplier onboarding, performance tracking and resolve day‑to‑day queries.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑contract assistance, handling PO and invoice escalations.
• Maintain accurate sourcing documentation and support audit compliance.
• Contribute to reporting on savings, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Buyer, Procurement Coordinator or Procurement Operations role.
• Strong understanding of RFQ and sourcing processes within a high‑volume environment.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on compliance and governance.
