Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator ensures that Nestlé’s campus facilities operate safely and efficiently, supporting a comfortable environment for employees. This role involves routine inspections, repairs, and coordination with external contractors to keep electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment and systems to identify issues.
• Repair faulty equipment and perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring and plumbing.
• Maintain HVAC building automation controls and lighting systems.
• Manage campus shuttle fleet fueling, oil changes and basic safety checks.
• Respond to building service requests through the Archibus system in a timely manner.
• Ensure exterior condition of buildings and grounds, and uphold OSHA and Nestlé safety standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school diploma or 1‑2 years experience in maintenance, plumbing, HVAC or electrical preferred.
• Team‑oriented, self‑driven with good oral and written communication.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb and working at heights.

Required skills

• HVAC systems and building automation controls.
• Electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance (painting, carpentry, flooring).
• Use of the Archibus facilities management system.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Operation of scissor lifts and other height‑access equipment.
