About the role
Join a dynamic retail environment in Ballyconnell as a Customer Service Assistant. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience while supporting the Shop Manager in daily store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day shop operations.
- Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Manage cash, accept and process bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
- Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to multi‑channel and digital offerings.
- Maintain high shop presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility duties.
- Step in to lead the shop in the absence of senior managers.
Required profile
- Customer‑service focused with trust and integrity.
- Flexible to work 7 days a week and adaptable to a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and reliable cash‑handling approach.
- Enthusiastic, people‑oriented, and interested in the sporting industry.
- Ambitious, results‑driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with EPOS systems.
- Experience using betting terminals.
- Effective cash management procedures.
