2nd Relief Production Operator

About the role

The 2nd Relief Production Operator provides essential shift cover for Fermentation and Distillation operations, stepping in during holidays, absences, or short‑notice requirements. You will work on a variety of equipment to ensure continuous production of high‑quality alcohol and related products.

Key responsibilities

• Cover holidays and absences in Fermentation & Distillation units.
• Prepare vessels, perform programmed CIP washes, and manage vessel filling.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters, settle vessels, and handle yeast transfer and emptying.
• Operate yeast centrifuges, sedimenters, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Reverse Osmosis Polisher (ROP) plants.
• Start‑up, run, shut‑down, and CIP the Distillation plant, Rectifier (96% ethanol) and Anhydrous Plant (99.9% ethanol).
• Load and unload tankers for customers and diagnose plant issues.
• Maintain cooling tower operations, dosing, and perform routine cleaning.
• Record all activities, sample products, and conduct lab testing as required.

• Attention to detail for record keeping and abnormal occurrence reporting.
