Accommodation Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accommodation Assistant to join our team at Muckross Park Hotel & Spa. In this position you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing directly to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and keep guest supplies stocked.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the relevant department.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist guests with inquiries or requests courteously and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or similar hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
