Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join Global Fresh Exotics in Ireland. You will be the main point of contact for our retail and wholesale customers, ensuring they receive top‑quality exotic produce and excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with retail and wholesale accounts, acting as the primary contact for orders, product queries and service issues.
• Oversee key accounts, processing and monitoring orders, coordinating stock availability and delivery schedules with internal teams.
• Ensure accurate pricing, invoicing and commercial terms.
• Identify new business opportunities and support promotional activities or product launches.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and analyse margins, volumes and pricing.
• Collaborate closely with operations and logistics to maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve supply challenges promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or customer relationship management, preferably within food, FMCG or fresh produce.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, able to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Comfort with data reporting and basic commercial analysis.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain or logistics processes for perishable goods is an advantage.
• Relevant qualification in business, sales, marketing or equivalent professional experience.
• Interest in exotic fresh produce and willingness to learn market trends.
