About the role
Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Analytical Services Technician to support the operation of its GFC and Chromatography laboratory. The role involves using the LIMS system to ensure accurate and timely sample registration, preparation, and shipment while maintaining high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support GFC and Chromatography laboratory activities through LIMS‑based sample registration and preparation.
- Collaborate with registration, internal, and subcontracted laboratory teams to meet deadlines and manage subcontracted work.
- Prepare and ship samples to internal and external labs, completing required customs paperwork.
- Maintain stability sample storage under appropriate conditions.
- Prioritise customer samples based on urgency and specific client requirements.
- Receive, sort, and accurately register customer samples in the LIMS system.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with partner laboratories.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in service efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry and document handling.
- Manage sample‑related queries, resolve missing or incomplete information, and communicate follow‑up.
- Respond to customer enquiries, providing accurate information.
- Support sales and customer service teams with administration and planning.
- Adhere to Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental policies and ISO 17025 standards.
Required profile
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment following ISO 17025 compliance.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate sample registration and documentation.
- Commitment to quality, health & safety, and environmental procedures.
