Area Manager – Irish Pharmacy Channel (Maternity Cover)

About the role

NUXE, a premium French pharmacy skincare brand, is seeking an experienced Area Manager to cover a maternity leave. Based in the West of Ireland, the role focuses on driving sustainable sell‑in and sell‑out growth across independent pharmacies and pharmacy chains.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual net sales, sell‑out and distribution targets across the Irish pharmacy channel.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while opening new doors in line with brand strategy.
• Build long‑term relationships with pharmacists, owners and store teams through regular face‑to‑face visits.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, promotions and activation plans.
• Maximise brand presence through shelf‑space optimisation and secondary siting.
• Implement marketing plans, including launches, promotions, testers, samples and in‑store merchandising.
• Deliver product and brand training to pharmacy teams.
• Organise and host in‑store events, animations and consumer engagement activities.
• Monitor competitor activity, category trends and market performance.
• Accurately forecast sales and manage reporting, KPIs and administration via CRM systems.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of field sales or Area Manager experience, preferably in premium beauty or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish pharmacy landscape.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and influencing in‑store execution.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confident trainer able to engage and motivate store teams.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
