Area Manager – South West Ireland

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Area Manager to lead a portfolio of food retail stores across the South West of Ireland. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, ensuring operational excellence, and developing store teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of store managers to achieve their full potential.
• Drive regional sales and KPI targets, ensuring commercial performance meets or exceeds expectations.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and store presentation across all locations.
• Oversee stock management and control processes to optimise inventory levels.
• Champion health and safety compliance throughout the region.
• Identify and implement commercial opportunities to increase footfall and sales.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to maximise product availability and profitability.
• Collaborate with fellow Area Managers and senior leadership to achieve wider business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in multi‑site retail, such as Area Manager, Multi‑Site Manager or Cluster Manager.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering results in a retail environment.
• Excellent people development skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Hands‑on approach with a passion for retail excellence and operational standards.
• Experience in food retail or convenience sectors is highly desirable.
