Area Sales Manager – Ireland (Biotech Ingredients)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to lead growth across Ireland for our biotech ingredients portfolio, focusing on specialty fermentation ingredients such as yeast extracts and peptones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies for the Ireland market.
• Manage and grow key accounts, targeting producers of bacteria, enzymes, and bio‑fermented proteins.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities and position technical ingredients as critical solutions.
• Maintain pipeline reporting, performance metrics and collaborate cross‑functionally to align commercial objectives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in biotech, fermentation, food or related industries.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to work independently in a remote territory.
• Comfortable with data, reporting tools and structured sales processes.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of yeast, bacteria or enzyme production processes.
