Assistant Financial Controller

About the role

The Assistant Financial Controller will support the efficient operation of the finance function within a Dalata hotel. Reporting to the Financial Controller and the General Manager, you will work closely with all hotel departments to drive financial performance and ensure robust controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review costs, margins and implement savings initiatives while monitoring key performance indicators.
• Prepare and review weekly revenue and payroll forecasts and lead month‑end activities.
• Champion daily/weekly meetings with Heads of Department to align financial targets.
• Support the Financial Controller and General Manager with training plans for non‑financial managers.
• Maintain and update financial controls, manage internal audit findings and promote technology‑driven efficiencies.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet control accounts, oversee income audit and manage timely debt collection.

Required profile

• Ambitious, confident professional with strong communication, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, food & beverage or retail.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CA).
