Assistant Manager – Retail Store (Limerick)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join a rapidly expanding, market‑leading retail store in Limerick. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain high standards and support a strong team on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a department and act as Duty Manager in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and non‑financial KPIs, including turnover, wages, wastage, shrinkage and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, store presentation, stock control and compliance with health & safety policies.
• Use management information to make strategic business decisions.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Enjoy being on the shop floor rather than an office setting.
• Strong operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Target‑driven, customer‑service oriented and highly motivated.
• Self‑starter with a can‑do attitude.
