Audit Senior – Practice Role

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Cork. This role offers the chance to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver audit assignments for SME and corporate clients.
• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
• Guide, review and mentor junior team members, supporting their development.
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve queries and provide value‑added advice.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA‑qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 2 years of practice‑based audit experience.
• Strong technical understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• CaseWare (or similar audit software) – advantageous.
