About the role
Our client, a global life‑sciences company based in Cork, is looking for a Finance & Digital Operations Specialist. Reporting directly to the Global Operational Lead, you will own and transform global operational finance programmes, driving digital innovation, automation and AI‑enabled improvements while working as a trusted right‑hand partner.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the deputy to the Operational Lead, taking ownership of complex, global operational finance issues.
- Lead digital innovation, automation and AI‑enabled process improvement initiatives.
- Utilise data‑analytics and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Power BI to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, HR, IT and external partners worldwide.
Required profile
- Proven experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services or Procurement within a multinational environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Concur, SAP and related finance systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for AI‑enabled process improvement.
- Collaborative and adaptable style; no people‑management experience required.
