Audit Senior – Professional Services Firm

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing professional services firm in Cork to recruit an Audit Senior. The successful candidate will join a supportive, high‑performing audit team that values work‑life harmony and offers clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
• Support delivery of audit and accounting tasks within agreed deadlines, maintaining clear communication with clients and colleagues.
• Participate in planning, executing and completing audit assignments in line with professional standards.
• Help maintain strong client relationships throughout the audit process.
• Research and respond to client queries, providing technical assistance as needed.
• Contribute to high‑quality audit services and ensure compliance with firm and industry standards.
• Support the team to ensure audits are completed on time and to a high standard.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in an audit or similar practice environment.
• Passion for delivering an excellent client experience.
• Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated team player with a proactive approach.
