AWS DevOps Engineer – Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite per week)

About the role

Our client, a leading technology provider for Life Science regulatory processes, is expanding its Platform team in Dublin. They are looking for a mid‑level AWS DevOps Engineer who will work both on‑site (two days a week) and remotely, collaborating with engineering heads to solve complex automation, CI/CD, security and design challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with developers and QA teams to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and manage security‑by‑design practices at scale across deployments.
• Develop automation scripts using Python (or similar) to streamline operational tasks.
• Participate in incident response and provide evidence‑based solutions.
• Maintain and evolve Kubernetes clusters, not just deploy but also optimise and troubleshoot them.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes clusters, AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Daily use of Python or Go for scripting and automation.
• Ability to back up ideas with data, recognise errors and adapt quickly.
