About the role
The Breakfast Supervisor will support the daily breakfast service at The Grace Westport Estate, a luxury hotel opening in Spring 2026. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the role is hands‑on, leading the breakfast team to deliver a warm, efficient and personalised dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, address dietary requirements and ensure a memorable breakfast experience.
- Oversee breakfast set‑up, buffet presentation, table allocations and coordinate with the kitchen for timely replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness, ambience and presentation standards in the dining area.
- Supervise, motivate and conduct pre‑service briefings for breakfast staff.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff scheduling, onboarding, training and performance feedback.
- Monitor stock levels of breakfast products, linens and consumables and report shortages or wastage.
- Support accurate billing procedures and POS system operation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen and health‑and‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Hands‑on leadership experience in a breakfast or food‑service environment.
- Ability to deliver attentive, personalised service to luxury‑standard guests.
- Strong organisational skills to manage set‑up, stock and service timelines.
- Effective communication for briefings, guest interactions and team coordination.
