Business Development Consultant – Healthcare Staffing

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to join our ROI/NI division and drive growth for our Clinical 24 brand. You will focus on expanding our client base of healthcare facilities and increasing revenue by promoting temporary nursing contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target healthcare organisations in the ROI/NI market that need interim nursing staff.
• Initiate contact, build relationships, and understand each client’s staffing challenges.
• Present the benefits of Clinical 24’s interim nursing contracts and position them as the optimal solution.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold‑calling and other prospecting methods.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, set targets and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfilment of staffing requests.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market conditions to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on sales activity, performance and market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within recruitment.
• Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
