Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead enterprise sales within the payments and financial infrastructure sector. This remote‑first position will focus on generating new business and expanding strategic accounts across Ireland and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing of complex deals with senior decision‑makers.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop consultative, tailored sales strategies that address client challenges and showcase the value of a unified payments platform.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuous feedback.
• Contribute to the evolution of sales playbooks, processes, and Ideal Customer Profile definitions.
• Accurately forecast performance and manage CRM data with disciplined reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise or strategic B2B sales, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or complex technology environments.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Ability to manage long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and conduct technical evaluations.
• Highly proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable in fast‑paced, ambiguous, remote settings.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on translating technical solutions into business value.
