About the role

Our client, a leading energy consultancy based in North County Dublin, is creating a new Business Development Manager position to drive growth across commercial and industrial energy markets. The role will own the full client acquisition lifecycle, from lead generation to contract signing and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, target and develop new business opportunities in the energy sector.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to close deals, ensure smooth onboarding and uphold service standards.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments.

Required profile

  • Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Ability to map markets, generate leads and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Strong commercial acumen and professional presentation skills.
  • Motivation to build and own a business development function.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
