CAD / Revit / BIM Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a CAD / Revit / BIM Engineer to join our Loughrea head office. The role involves creating and managing Revit models, families and coordinating multi‑discipline designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain multi‑discipline coordinated Revit models, drawings and schedules.
• Align design development with the project BIM execution plan, performing regular model checks and data sharing.
• Liaise between mechanical, electrical, civil and structural designers to ensure seamless coordination.
• Manage the production and upkeep of the Model Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout each project.
• Participate in drawing and design reviews and support feasibility studies.
• Take instructions from engineers and generate drawings with limited supervision.
• Support the CAD team by sharing knowledge and improving use of CAD tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a BIM coordination role.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a strong trades background with a BIM qualification.
• Proven track record in mechanical or electrical BIM work.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.

• BIM 360.
• General CAD software proficiency.
