Clinical Nurse Manager (Level 2) – Cork

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (Level 2) to join its Children’s Services team in Curraheen, Cork. The role supports children and young people (0‑18 years) with complex disabilities, working closely with families, schools and multidisciplinary partners to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary nursing contact for children, families and external stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team assessments.
• Lead Individual Family Service Planning meetings, develop and review care programmes.
• Provide training, advice and support to families, staff and other professionals.
• Collaborate with the Children’s Disability Network Team to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) in the appropriate division.
• Minimum five years post‑qualification full‑time nursing experience.
• At least three years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and a clean driver’s licence with willingness to drive service vehicles.

• Specified Purpose Contract – 18.75 hours per week.
• Salary scale €29,122 – €34,629 per annum (subject to 2026 adjustments).
• 34‑37 days annual leave (pro‑rated).
