Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the installation of an Ekato dryer at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork. The role involves delivering a critical capital project within a highly regulated GMP environment, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time completion.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of the Ekato dryer installation project.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical and vendor activities on site.
• Maintain project schedule, control costs and ensure site safety.
• Interface with engineering, quality, EHS and operations teams.
• Monitor contractor performance and oversee site works.
• Guarantee compliance with GMP, site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support commissioning, qualification and handover to operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience delivering pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
• Proven track record managing process equipment installations.
• Strong understanding of GMP environments and regulated project delivery.
• Experience working with equipment vendors and multiple contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; Chartered Engineer or PMP/PRINCE2 advantageous.
