Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a leading contractor operating across the West of Ireland. The role involves delivering a diverse portfolio of projects—including healthcare facilities, residential schemes, commercial buildings and civil infrastructure—based in Adare (Co. Limerick) and Shannon (Co. Clare).

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct all project activities to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
• Evaluate programme progress regularly and manage expectations of clients, design teams and subcontractors.
• Control resources, workforce, subcontractors, equipment and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and technical assessors to meet contractual and programme requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality System, procedures and engineering specifications.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and quality on site.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams and internal office staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• 3rd‑level qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Proven commercial and financial acumen, preferably in public‑contract construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing residential development projects.
• Full Irish driving licence.
