Construction Project Manager

About the role

As a Construction Project Manager at Lafferty, you will join highly experienced, culturally diverse teams delivering industry‑leading projects. You will gain extensive construction industry exposure while taking real responsibility for project delivery from pre‑contract planning through construction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing scope of work, priorities, KPIs and the Project Execution Plan.
• Lead the preparation, review and recommendation of Design Team RFPs and appointments.
• Document, minute and track actions and outcomes from project meetings.
• Support design, value‑engineering and statutory consent processes, including health & safety obligations.
• Develop project programmes, monitor performance and assist with procurement strategy reports.
• Manage construction phase activities, tracking planned vs. actual progress.
• Provide proactive reporting across design, cost, schedule, safety and quality.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and design teams.

Required profile

• Experience in construction project management.
• Understanding of health & safety requirements in design and construction.
• Familiarity with design, value‑engineering and statutory consent processes.
• Ability to develop project programmes and procurement strategies.
• Strong documentation and meeting‑tracking skills.
