Construction Project Manager – Site Based

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a variety of building and civil engineering projects across Dublin and North Leinster. The role involves overseeing projects from the tender stage through to completion, ensuring health & safety, quality, budget and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, including demolition, civil works and structural concrete.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and work plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Review contracts, drawings and specifications, and manage project documentation, reporting and change orders.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively and communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers and internal teams.
• Track costs, approve invoices and ensure successful project close‑out and handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with a strong commercial focus.
• Proven ability to manage projects on confined sites and coordinate multiple trades.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to job sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and programming drawings.
