Construction Site Manager – Client Side

About the role

The Construction Site Manager (Client Side) will lead residential and regeneration projects for a national semi‑state organisation in Ireland. Reporting to a senior construction lead, you will guide projects through construction while supporting planning and detailed design phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of residential projects through the construction stage.
• Support development colleagues during planning, detailed design and pre‑construction.
• Manage design teams on technical, programme and budget matters.
• Plan, organise and direct all construction‑related activities.
• Liaise with local authorities, utilities, consultants and development partners.
• Develop and manage project programmes, milestones and delivery schedules.
• Ensure safety, on‑time delivery, budget compliance and quality standards.
• Manage main contractors and consultancy teams on large‑scale projects.
• Oversee statutory approvals such as Planning Permission and Fire Safety Certificates.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and provide regular reporting.
• Contribute to value‑engineering and cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction.
• Recognised third‑level qualification in construction, engineering, development or a related discipline.
• Strong technical and commercial construction knowledge.
• Proven experience managing large residential projects.
