Construction Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of medium to large‑scale projects for McKeon Group & Hereworks in Ashbourne. The role combines strong technical knowledge with digital fluency to ensure quality, safety and schedule performance across all phases of construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations from mobilisation to handover.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with health, safety, environmental and BCAR requirements.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and logistics.
• Maintain and update daily records, site diaries and communications using Procore.
• Implement and monitor construction programme milestones, reporting progress to the Project/Contracts Manager.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety meetings in partnership with the H&S team.
• Drive continuous improvement, mentor junior personnel and support apprentices.
• Oversee snagging, commissioning and handover, including digital preparation of the Safety File.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium to large construction sites.
• Strong technical background with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Comfortable using digital construction platforms and data‑driven workflows.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on safety and quality.

Required skills

• Procore (or similar digital construction management software).
