About the role
We are seeking a Consultant in Internal Medicine with a special interest in Geriatrics for a 12‑month, salary‑based position at a hospital in Ireland. The role offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive internal medicine services to adult patients.
- Deliver specialised geriatric assessments and management plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in teaching and mentorship of junior staff.
Required profile
- Full active IMC Specialist Registration.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in internal medicine with a focus on geriatrics.
- Well‑developed interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
