About the role
The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Consultant General Paediatrician for Cavan & Monaghan Hospital, which serves both counties and extends into Meath, Longford and Leitrim. The hospital is a teaching hospital with 421 beds (286 acute) and a wide range of services, including a paediatric ward, a paediatric assessment unit and a cystic fibrosis unit. The post is under the Public Only Consultants Contract 2023.
Key responsibilities
- Provide paediatric care at Cavan & Monaghan Hospital for 31 hours per week.
- Provide paediatric care at Monaghan Hospital for 6 hours per week.
Required profile
- Registered in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of paediatrics.
