Consultant Plastic Surgeon (Temporary Part‑Time)

About the role
This temporary part‑time position is for a qualified Consultant Plastic Surgeon working on onco‑prevention initiatives at two teaching hospitals. The appointment runs under the Public Only Consultant contract from 2023 until the end of the year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver plastic surgery services on a part‑time basis across SIVUH and CUH.
- Focus clinical work on onco‑prevention and related patient pathways.
- Comply with the terms of the Public Only Consultant contract.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both hospitals.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical governance.
Required profile
- Fully qualified plastic surgeon with appropriate registration.
- Experience in onco‑prevention or related surgical practice.
- Ability to work part‑time on a temporary, fixed‑term basis.
- Commitment to the public healthcare setting and teaching environment.
