Corporate Associate / Of Counsel – Dublin

About the role

The Maples Group is seeking a Corporate Associate or Of Counsel to join its Dublin team. This position offers exposure to high‑profile M&A and corporate finance transactions for both international institutional clients and innovative Irish enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and act as lead counsel on M&A and corporate finance matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, transaction documents, and corporate governance materials.
• Collaborate closely with other practice areas in Dublin to deliver seamless client service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international clients.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of post‑qualification experience in M&A and corporate finance.
• Completion of a minimum two‑year training contract.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
• Commitment to a long‑term career within a global legal and financial services firm.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of M&A and corporate finance law.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Effective client management and communication skills.
