Customer Assistant (Part-time) – Kilcock Express

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Customer Assistant to join our Kilcock Express store on a 20‑25 hour per week basis. In this role you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them find products and ensuring a smooth, pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Put the customer first in every interaction and build rapport.
• Maintain product availability on the shop floor and in back‑room areas.
• Handle all merchandise with care to preserve quality.
• Keep the shop floor and back‑of‑house tidy and safe.
• Follow department routines, company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues by covering other departments when needed.

• Enthusiastic, natural customer service with a smile.
• Hard‑working and reliable, with good time‑keeping.
• Able to prioritise tasks to benefit customers.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Presentable, tidy and professional at all times.
