Customer Success Manager

About the role

Smartling is looking for a Customer Success Manager to join its remote team in Ireland. In this role you will help global brands adopt and maximise the value of Smartling’s AI‑driven translation platform throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a regular communication cadence with customers, sharing product and industry updates that affect their global content strategies.
• Assess customer requirements, resolve issues, anticipate future needs and act as the customer’s voice within Smartling.
• Guide customers in implementing localisation best practices to drive incremental value and return on investment.
• Create and execute account‑planning strategies to ensure retention, product adoption and growth, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services and Product teams.
• Build trusted‑advisor relationships with key stakeholders and align activities with the customer’s business objectives.
• Manage renewal processes and identify opportunities for upsell and expansion of Smartling usage.
• Lead business review meetings to demonstrate value, track performance against goals and encourage broader adoption.
• Facilitate business‑process optimisation workshops and participate in Smartling events for customer marketing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a B2B customer success, client services or account‑management role.
• Detail‑oriented with proven ability to manage multiple customer relationships and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience handling contract renewals and upsell opportunities.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills.
