Datacentre Project Manager – Remote (Hybrid with Dublin visits)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Datacentre Project Manager to lead retrofit and infrastructure modernisation projects across Microsoft data centres in the EMEA region. The position is fully remote, with occasional on‑site visits to Dublin (once or twice a month) to oversee critical activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute data‑centre retrofit and fit‑out projects, including tape‑library modernisation.
• Manage telecommunications, fiber, structured cabling, mechanical‑electrical‑plumbing (MEP), environmental control and containment modifications.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineers and internal operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Control project scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting, ensuring safe execution in live facilities.
• Support operational readiness and integration of new hardware and infrastructure technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering data‑centre construction, retrofit or fit‑out projects in a mission‑critical environment.
• Background in telecommunications infrastructure and fiber deployment.
• Hands‑on experience with MEP construction coordination and vendor management.
• Track record of capital project delivery within active facilities.
