DevOps Engineer – Build Cutting-Edge Scientific Computing Platform

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design and build the infrastructure that powers a fast‑growing deep‑tech company at the intersection of AI, computational science and pharmaceutical innovation. You will work closely with R&D teams to create reliable, automated platforms that accelerate drug discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement self‑hosted CI/CD pipelines that developers love.
• Orchestrate containerised workloads across distributed environments.
• Build and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, alerting) for real‑time system insight.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code using Ansible and automate provisioning.
• Write scripts and Python tools to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to scale architecture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE roles.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker or Podman.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience, preferably with Ansible.
• Python proficiency for automation.
