DevOps Engineer – Build Infrastructure for AI Drug Discovery

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer who will build the infrastructure from the ground up to power large‑scale simulation and AI‑driven drug discovery. This role focuses on creating, not merely configuring, systems that enable cutting‑edge scientific research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement containerised systems using Docker and Podman.
• Create multi‑service environments with Docker Compose or Docker Swarm.
• Develop end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
• Build automation and tooling for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work deep in Linux (systemd, networking, shell scripting, debugging) to support compute‑heavy scientific and AI workloads.

Required profile

• Proven experience building infrastructure with Docker, not just running containers.
• Demonstrated ability to design CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, networking and systemd.
• Track record of independently delivering infrastructure projects.
