Director, EHSS Standards & Management Systems

About the role

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division is seeking a Director to own the enterprise‑level Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) standards and management systems. This hybrid role will support the upcoming separation of the orthopedics business and ensure a robust EHSS architecture across multiple global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the EHSS management system and maintain the standards hierarchy.
• Provide governance for EHSS standards across the organization.
• Lead the development and implementation of EHSS policies in preparation for the business separation.
• Collaborate with global EHSS teams and business units to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in environmental health, safety and sustainability management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a multinational corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in EHSS.
